We all need to donate to charity. There are up to 250,000 young people
under the age of 25 sleeping rough in just England and Wales; 70% of
the world's marine life is currently at risk of extinction and, each
year, over one million women are diagnosed with breast cancer. Research
and understanding of each of these issues are increasing on a daily
basis, but it's obvious that donating to charity is more important as
ever before in order to achieve a stable planet and to give people the
chance to live healthy and worthwhile lives.
The concept of combining fun and charity is not a new one. Just look
at Comic Relief, which was founded in 1985 and has so far distributed
over £300 million to worthy causes all over the world by uniting
charity and comedy. Equally, people are more than willing to take on a
fun run, dive into a bath of baked beans or parade around the office in
ridiculous costumes all day, all in the name of goodwill, compassion
and generosity – giving and having a great time doing it.
